Stimulus or socialism: Obama was quick to sign the stimulus bill that will treacherously increase government power and control. Over $800 billion is the amount that the Obama administration decided on in a bid to destroy our economy.

After all, it was government spending that accumulated the massive deficit that we now have to fight to overcome. Obama clearly believes that even more money should be spent, and he's sold his billion dollar plan to us using his characteristically skillful rhetoric, entitling it a 'recovery plan' or a 'stimulus package.'

The whole package is designed to ensure greater government control through spending. The Obama administration is assuring that it has complete control to hand out our tax dollars, our current hard-earned tax money and the tax money that is yet to be earned by future generations who will have to continue paying for this terrible stimulus package.

Obama has made proposals to nationalize health care, create government jobs and redistribute the wealth of the country through taxation. This is blatant socialism, and we would do well to note that it was capitalism that made our country into a great and prosperous nation.

The principle of working hard to reap the rewards of hard labor is fundamental to the American dream. Socialism is a flawed principle, and we need only look at Russia to see where it leads.

The totalitarian shift towards tyranny has already begun under Obama, the elitist puppet president who wants to ensure that our economy is crippled and that we are left dependent on the powers that be for hand-outs.

DO WE WANT STIMULUS OR SOCIALISM?

Obama's stimulus package is a socialist plan. Of the $820 billion spending plan, approximately $275 billion will be handed out in the form of welfare checks which will have little benefit for the economy. In fact, the idea that we can spend our way out of a recession is ludicrous to begin with.

We are in a deficit of countless U.S dollars, but our government has allocated somewhere in the region of $400 million to research climate change. Is this wise?

This plan to increase spending on an already massive deficit is merely a ploy to increase the power and control of big government to interfere in the private sector, fund everything, implement a welfare state and provoke class warfare.

THE STIMULUS PACKAGE IS NOT GOING TO IMPROVE OUR ECONOMY, IT IS GOING TO RESHAPE IT

STIMULUS OR SOCIALISM: WHY ARE THERE NO OTHER OPTIONS?

Besides Obama's stimulus package, are there no other ways of addressing the economic recession that we find ourselves in? What if government had to stop spending money that we don't have? Perhaps government could let the free market remain free from interference? Or why not abolish income tax for a year and provide real incentive for the people who actually carry our economy?

Obama has quelled opposition by scaring us into accepting the stimulus package as the only viable option. The truth is that Obama is an elitist pawn who is orchestrating the collapse of our economy. On the elitist agenda is a global monetary system and a one world totalitarian government.

Do we want stimulus or socialism? Obama's stimulus package will drive our economy into the ground, and it just happens to be a two in one deal - it comes with socialism in tow.
