Second Amendment Issue and the Fight of Law Abiding Citizens to Own Guns;  Second Amendment Issue and American Injustice.

The Second Amendment to the Constitution gives each American the right to bear arms for protection or sport. The American people today are in a fight to keep the rights of the Constitution and the Second Amendment Issue is becoming more present and fought over.

In Illinois civilians need to own a gun ID card in order to own a gun. If they do not own this ID card and they are found with a gun, it is a felony for them to carry any weapon and they will be arrested. The government in Illinois is currently trying to push a new law that will also make it necessary for people to have a one million dollar insurance policy on their guns. This policy would be for the negligent or non negligent use of a gun. What does this mean?

If you are an Illinois citizen and have a gun you need to purchase a policy of insurance worth one million dollars in coverage. If you were to shoot an individual that has broken into your home and they choose to do so, they could sue you and you would be responsible for their injuries.

All in all it is an attempt by antigun groups to make it impossible for people to obtain guns. There are no insurance companies that will write ANY policy of insurance for gun ownership much less a policy for one million dollars in coverage.

In effect, this would make it an impossibility for any person in Illinois to own a firearm. This is just one Second Amendment Issue that is present in the United States government in one state. The only hope in these times are the various groups that are rallying around the Second Amendment to keep gun rights in America.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) is fighting a very public fight for your Second Amendment rights in Congress and the media. The Second Amendment foundation is taking the Second Amendment issues to the legal front filing suit in every state and the Supreme Court to keep your rights to bear arms.

THE NEW HAMPSHIRE FIREARMS COALITION

The New Hampshire Firearms Coalition is taking the fight for the Second Amendment to each state and giving each American the ammunition to fight for the Constitution. The NHFC is traveling the nation and holding seminars for Americans to obtain knowledge that can be used to fight for their right to bear arms.

In New Hampshire, as in most of America, you are not allowed legally to defend yourself in public places. If you were attacked in the supermarket parking lot you would not legally be able to defend your self with a fire arm.

The NHFC has brought the HB 160 Bill into Congress which would abolish this law. It would give citizens the right to defend themselves in any situation.

This is where the fight will be won or loss. Each American needs to speak up and let the government know that they want their right to protect themselves. They need to let the government know that they will not sit by idly and let them take away their rights to bear arms.
